From all the offerings this post brings, what speaks to me most is the idea about going for depth, and giving myself premission to stick to the same areas that have been able to draw my attention consistently and for years if not decades on end.
Before I make this no doubt excellent post the focus of my study - my first comment is about something entirely unrelated, but that was so life changing for me, I am eager to share.
The opening photo is (white with) pink with bright blue.
Do you know, or remember, the cinematic word for the related scheme of (black with) pink, blue and purple?
I'm sure you've encountered it at some point, but for me it was so new and refreshing I will remember it for a lifetime.
It is called bilighting, there are multiple YouTube videos about it and it is a reference to bisexuality and queerness.
Cool! I didn't know the word bilighting - and I'm happy to add it to my vocabulary. Of course it makes sense that this image is bi-coded - I think creativity is inherently queer, so we should all write our covenants with pink pens dipped in blue ink in a purplish space! My intuitive image-picker was right on :)
Yes we should! 🌈 And I was going to include a picture of my covenant, which proved I had done se intuitively, before reading your comment 😇 but I can t seem to add a picture.

I love the idea of digging deeper into the realms I have already explored, not trying to find a new place to look but seeing where I am and where i can go from here with my work, both my art and my writing.
Beautiful! I find this idea calming, grounding, and encouraging! Everything feels somehow easier when you are already where you are supposed to be, doesn't it? Thanks for your comment. :)

I would love to participate in Mornings Alive! I am trying to restart my writing practice and this timing could not be more perfect. i am also going to give thought to the notion of creating a covenant with my creativity. Thank you for all of this.
