New for Paid Subscribers!

On this first anniversary of the Saltee Goodness newsletter, I think it is time to introduce some special benefits for those of you who have been paid subscribers from the get-go (thank you!) and offer a bit of enticement to those free subscribers who are also devoted readers, but who are perhaps looking for a little more Goodness.

SO, starting this month, paid subscribers only will begin receiving video talks based on the Saltee Bite Workshops that I’ve been offering as live gatherings since 2020. (You’ll also have access to transcripts of the talks in case you prefer to read, or just like to read along.)

The Saltee Bites videos will come to paid subscribers on the third Saturday of each month.

About this video

This month’s video, “Love as a Creative Practice,” gets right to the heart of what I believe human creating is all about. I share some of my favorite quotes from writers and artists on the role of love in creating, and discuss the nature of “generative love” - the specific kind of love that creators embody and enact. We also look at some of the particular risks and challenges inherent in generative love, talk about how love becomes devotion, and explore how each of our creative projects may need to be loved in a different way.

I hope you really enjoy these monthly talks and encourage you to please share a comment in response to any of the journaling prompts, or in response to whatever this video sparks for you.

This one is about 30 min long, so get your coffee, tea, or glass of wine and settle in!

ENJOY!
